Run through this checklist before clicking Start Calculation. It takes 3 minutes and prevents the most common setup mistakes.

Model

• [ ] Geometry simplified (small features removed)?
• [ ] Scale correct (mm)?
• [ ] All bodies present?

Mesh

• [ ] Mesh generated and visually checked?
• [ ] Mesh quality acceptable (skewness, aspect ratio)?
• [ ] Local refinement at critical locations?

Boundary conditions & loads

• [ ] Boundary conditions physically meaningful?
• [ ] No rigid body movement possible?
• [ ] Loads correct (direction, magnitude, unit)?
• [ ] Unit system consistent throughout?

Contact

• [ ] Contact pairs defined for all touching parts?
• [ ] No initial penetration?
• [ ] Contact type appropriate (bonded vs frictional)?

After checking all boxes

If everything is green, submit the job. If you're unsure about any item, resolve it before running — a failed or implausible result costs more time than a thorough pre-check.
