Export your CAD model as a STEP file and upload it to Dr.Q. The model must be a single, closed solid body.
Quick guide
- Export your model from your CAD system as STEP AP214 (.stp / .step)
- Open your project in Dr.Q and upload the file via drag & drop
- Check in the 3D preview: is the shape and scale correct?
Dr.Q cannot process assemblies. Merge all parts into a single solid body before exporting. The exact export steps for your CAD system (SolidWorks, Inventor, CATIA, …) are covered in Platform → Import Geometry.
